This year’s BICA conference will be held as a hybrid conference from 7-12 September 2026,  which will take place at the Merida campus. To submit your original works for the BICA 2026 hybrid conference, the submission link will be published soon.                  

Papers may be published in either Springer’ book series Studies in Computational Intelligence (SCI) or Elsevier’ Q2 journal Cognitive Systems Research (CSR) . Papers intended for CSR should not use the Springer template (use a simple single-column formatting instead), should be sufficiently long (no page limit), complete, and adhering to high scientific standards.

Springer papers must be at least 6 pages. Optimal lenght is from 8 to 25 pages including references. Papers longer than 25 pages will be subject to an extra page fee. Submissions must be formatted strictly based on the provided Springer templates; Download Here. Use the file ProceedingsPaper_LTP_BICA2025_final.docx included in the package as your License to Publish form.
